- Sex is a powerful force that can destroy if not used properly. Like atomic power, sex is the most powerful creative force given to man. When atomic power is used correctly it can create boundless energy; when it is used in the wrong way it destroys life. Sex is the same kind of powerful force. Sex is a gift from God to give us the greatest pleasure, to help in creating a deep companionship with one's spouse and for procreation of the next generation. But if you play with this powerful force outside the bounds of marriage, it destroys you and those close to you.
- Sexual activity for young people arrests their psychological, social and academic development. Studies show that when young people engage in premarital sex, their academic performance declines and their social relationships with family and friends deteriorate. This is because adolescents are too immature to deal with the explosive sex drive and it tends to dominate their life.
- The majority of women cannot enjoy sex outside of the bonds of marriage. The development of a fulfilling sex life needs the security and peace of the marriage bond. Premarital sex usually takes place sneaking around in hidden places dealing with the fear of being caught, the fear of pregnancy and feelings of guilt. All these (worrisome) factors undermine pleasure in premarital sex, most especially for women.
- Virginity is to be given to the most important person in your life, the person you committed yourself to stay with forever in marriage. Your virginity is the most precious thing you have to give to your spouse. Once you lose it, nothing in the world can bring it back. Don't lose something so precious in a thoughtless way.
- Those who engage in premarital sex run a high risk of contracting one of the many venereal diseases rampant today, as well as losing their fertility. Not just AIDS, but other common disfiguring diseases like herpes have no cure.
- Some venereal diseases have no symptoms and many couples discover many years later that they became infertile because of these diseases. Infertility experts estimate that 80% of today's infertility is due to venereal diseases contracted before they married.
- The best and only method that guarantees 100% against AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases is to wait for marriage to have sex and maintain fidelity in your marriage.
- Premarital sex breaks the 10 Commandments given by God. The 10 Commandments are given to man by God to make man happy. They are not outdated and they are not restrictive. If we follow these laws, we can create happy and prosperous lives. If we don't follow them, we will pay a heavy price in divorce, disease, abortions, illegitimate children and loneliness. Modern men make a big mistake when they think that they can break these eternal laws and not suffer consequences.
- Premarital sex runs the risk of conceiving illegitimate children. Numerous scientific studies show that the children of single mothers suffer psychologically and are less successful socially and academically than children from intact families. Above all, children need both their father and their mother. It is wrong to risk having children who will never have their father's love, protection and care.
- If you date and you don't have sex, you can forget about that relationship when you stop dating. But if you have sex with those you date and then break up, the nature of sexual involvement creates strong, often unpleasant memories for your whole life. Every relationship you break up where you had intimate relations is like a mini-divorce. The psychological difficulties of these mini-divorces does damage to your character. Later, when you are married and go to bed with your beloved spouse, these unpleasant memories will accompany you.

How Being In A Relationship Promotes Healthy Living
Being in a relationship, especially a satisfying one does not only give pleasure, it also plays a great role in our health. People in relationships have been shown to live more happily, have fewer health problems and even live longer. RALIAT YUSUF writes.
When it comes to living and staying healthy, being in a quality relationship matters. Contrary to belief or practice by some people who would rather not be in a relationship or have few or no social ties, such a lifestyle could lead to depression ,loneliness and even premature death.
One of the major benefit of being in a relationship is fewer mental health problems even though people may once in a while get on each other’s nerves. Overall, people in committed relationships experience significantly fewer mental health problems than those that are not in any relationship according to a study early this year which observed 1,621 people.
The study showed that those not in committed relationships that had more sexual partners also had more physical and mental health problems.
Compared with those in relationships, those not in any relationship at all have comparatively higher levels of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment problems, suicidal behavior and other forms of psychological distress.
The study also showed that men and women in relationships experience equal benefits in terms of mental health. However, the author acknowledged that mental health is likely both a consequence and cause of being coupled up — those with mental health issues are also less likely to be in a committed relationship in the first place.
While in some quotas it is believed that love hurts the reverse may be the case as love is said to actually helps numb pain. In the same study, it examined the relationship between pain relief, feelings of romantic love and activation of reward systems in the brain. Some partners who were in love were subjected to mild pains. On seeing the picture of their loved ones, it distracted them from the pain, but a picture of another person of equal attractiveness was not as helpful.
Images of their brains using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI) confirmed that while looking at pictures of their romantic partner, they experienced increased activity in reward-processing regions of the brain, and decreased activity in pain-processing regions.
It has also been found that those that are not in any relationship are more prone to psychological stress than those who are in a steady relationship. Relationship status can affect the production of cortisol, a stress hormone, during stressful events. Those with supportive partners experienced less strain and in turn, were better at tolerating relationship stresses. The researchers also suggested that partners who are satisfied with their relationship are in a better position to provide support when the other partner experiences stressful events.
A relationship expert and marriage counselor, Mrs Veronica Onyekwere explains: “it depends on how you look at it because it is not all or just about being in a relationship, satisfaction in any relationship be it marriage matters a lot”. For instance, when a lady is in a relationship that she is being battered from time to time by her boyfriend or in another instance marriage, one should expect problems from such association. It could lead to depression, sadness and poor state of health, she said.
Brain images from FMRI suggest that early-stage, intense romantic love can activate certain dopamine-rich areas in the brain. These areas are associated with reward, desire, addiction and euphoric states. In fact, one of these areas, the anterior cingulate, is responsible for obsessive thinking, cognition and emotion — the characteristics of love.

Looking at it from another angle, apart from intimate relationship or marriage, when you have more social ties with people it goes a long way in improving quality of life, she notes. It relieves harmful levels of stress, which is capable of damaging the heart’s arteries, insulin regulation and the immune system in general.
Relationship can help extend one’s life span. A census data have shown that those that are not in a relationship had a higher probability of early death than those who were in one. They had a significantly increased risk of death, even after adjusting to other socio-economic factors. Those in relationships have more support when things are difficult because there is always someone to talk to when there is a problem or to calm them down when things are stressful. All these put together can increase life span.
Studies have shown that when we look at the face of someone that we are truly and happily in a relationship with, it engages certain areas in the brain.Brain images from FMRI suggest that early-stage, intense romantic love can activate certain dopamine-rich areas in the brain. These areas are associated with reward, desire, addiction and euphoric states. In fact, one of these areas, the anterior cingulate, is responsible for obsessive thinking, cognition and emotion — the characteristics of love.
In a recent research carried out on some midlife women, it found that those who were in highly satisfying marriages had a lower risk for cardiovascular disease than those in less satisfying marriages. It also linked negative interactions with family and friends with poorer health. Having a network of important relationships can also make a difference. Dementia risk was lowest among individuals with a variety of satisfying contacts, the research concluded.

Strategies Of Marketing Your Business Online With content
Strategies Of Marketing Your Business Online With content
There are several strategies of marketing your products and services successfully on the internet. But with this article I will be focusing on how you can consistently write content for your website effectively.
It has been noted by internet marketing experts that consistent worthy optimized content are one proven way of driving targeted visitors to your website.
When they say content is king on the internet they are right.
You can verify my claims through alexa.com, which provide information on the position of websites in regard traffic.
For better clarification on how it works, as at my last visit to alexa.com, Google.com is the number one website in the world, facebook.com is number two, youtube.com is number three, yahoo.com is number four.
So if your site position is in millions that implies the website is not getting visitors, you need to work on it.
Below are strategies of marketing your website effectively using content:
When you write regular original content that educate potential customers on your products or services, this will motivate visitors to read your content and visit your website regularly to read fresh ones.
After sometime they will start regarding you as an expert in your industry; they can trust and accept your recommendation. This may gradually lead to sales.
The search for worthy content daily by millions of people to solve specific problem makes Google the richest online company in the world. Can you imagine the internet without content?
The strategies of marketing your site effectively with content are to research the phrases that potential clients are searching for in your industry from the search engines.
Then write original articles on the several phrases consistently to your website which will gradually attract targeted visitors that will eventually buy your products and services.
The reason why people are marketing their websites is to attract targeted visitors to achieve a specific purpose. For example, an entrepreneur may be interested in getting visitors on his/her website to sell his products or services.
An NGO may want people to visit their website so they can sympathize with a humanitarian cause they are pursuing.
You may be wondering how people will discover your website from millions of websites in your industry if you don’t invest money to advert. It is by applying proven strategies of marketing that works.
For instance, I have never invested a dime to advertise my website www.nigeriawebsuccess.com which is just over a year, but the site is attracting targeted visitors of people interested in success information in Nigeria and makes sales of over a million naira monthly and getting better daily.
When you start applying content as strategies for marketing your website, you will need more disk space to host your site.
The solution to avoid spending huge cost on hosting your website is to use an efficient hosting company with the cheapest cost possible.
Therefore, get a hosting company that will offer you unlimited disk space and support for not more than $300 a year.
This is because most popular hosting companies offer about 100GB for $120 per annum or 300GB for $360 per annum which will make the use of content as strategies too expensive for marketing your website
How To Be A Distributor And Be Successful
How To Be A Distributor And Be Successful
If you are wondering how to be a distributor and be successful, you need proven information that will guide you to attain the goal. So I implore you to take time to examine this content objectively.
The major reason why many distributors are failing is because they join companies that lack the prerequisite for an average person to do well.
The key to your success is to join a leverage company or network marketing business that can help you achieve your goals.
Why am I recommending a leverage company? The key to succeeding in any business today is to weight on other people’s skills, time and experiences.
When you leverage on the time and resources of other people, you achieve more results than only your own effort, thus making the road to wealth smoother and faster.
No matter how talented you are, it’s difficult to earn substantial income if you are alone.
That may raise the question among people seeking information on how to be a distributor, why is it that many people are failing in network marketing business or Leverage Company?
Let me answer this question, so you can be informed on how to be a distributor and be successful.
Reasons Why People Fail In Network Marketing Business:
1. They joined new companies that have no records of success.
2. They promote common products that can be purchased everywhere.
3. They promote products that are trendy or that people buy once in a while.
4. The products don’t fill a real need in the society. Therefore, they make little sales or nothing.
5. No passion for the business, so they cannot persist long enough until the money start coming.
6. The company doesn’t have the capacity or resources to expand the business and pay distributors consistently.
7. No budget from the company to brand the business, which makes it difficult for distributors to sell the company to buyers.
8. The sponsor or the person that introduced them to the business is not committed to their success.
9. Not easy to make quick sales from the product, this discourages distributors with little capital from staying long in the business.
10. The company offers little or no quality training for its distributors.
So if you are wondering on how to be a distributor and be successful, what better way to explain it than to use a good company as a case study?
Permit me to introduce you to KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited and test if it passes the criteria of a good company to join. Let’s get started…
Does The Company Have Record Of Success?
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of KEDI Healthcare Industries in Hong Kong, China. It’s a giant conglomerate with business interests in pharmaceuticals sectors in China.
It has factories and R&D centers in China supplying high quality Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Is Their Products Selling Well In The Marketplace?
As a distributor, I should know better, the KEDI health product is in high demand in the Nigeria market.
These products are herbal ingredients, which are life essentials, special solutions and healthcare equipment.
Unlike western medicines, which focus on the treatment of disease when they are fully developed in the patient and have side effects, KEDI products strengthen the overall health of a patient.
Many western medical practitioners start to use it to offset the side effects due to the toxic medication or sometime they turn to the product when there are no cure for certain types of diseases and illness.
Is The Person Who Introduced You To The Company Committed And Has The Marketing Strategy To Help You Succeed?
My response here is for people that are interested in becoming a Kedi distributor through my network…
One of the reasons I joined Kedi Health as a distributor is to provide credible business opportunity for visitors that found my website.
Naturally, I am committed to the success of distributors in my team.
In addition, I and my upline have devised proven marketing strategies for you on how to be a distributor and be successful.
Cardiac arrest: What to know, what to do
Cardiac arrest: What to know, what to do
Medical experts say this mechanism can break down in a variety of ways, but the final pathway in sudden death is the same: the electrical system is irritated and fails to produce electrical activity that causes the heart to beat. The heart muscle can’t supply blood to the body, particularly the brain, and the body dies.
What actually triggers a cardiac arrest? Dr. Ezekiel Ogunlewe, a chest surgeon with the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LUTH), who spoke with Sunday Mirror on this topic, expounded on what causes a sudden cardiac arrest, the importance of taking good care of the heart and the need to improve the heart care facilities in the country.
“In cardiac arrest, the victim may or may not have been diagnosed with heart disease but the most common underlying reason for patients to die suddenly from cardiac arrest is coronary heart disease. Most cardiac arrests that lead to sudden death occur when the electrical impulses in the diseased heart become rapid in what we call ventricular tachycardia or chaotic (ventricular fibrillation) or both. Some cardiac arrests are due to extreme slowing of the heart. This is called bradycardia. Other factors besides heart disease and heart attack that can cause cardiac arrest include respiratory arrest, enlarged heart, congenital heart disease, electrocution, drowning, choking and trauma. Cardiac arrest can also occur without any known cause,’’ he said.
Medical studies point out that the same factors that put a person at risk of coronary artery disease may also be the reason for sudden cardiac arrest. These include:
• A family history of coronary artery disease
• Smoking
• High blood pressure
• High blood cholesterol
• Obesity
• Diabetes
• A sedentary lifestyle
• Drinking too much alcohol (more than one to two drinks a day)
• Age — the incidence of sudden cardiac arrest increases with age, especially after age 45 for men and age 55 for women
• Being male — men are two to three times more likely to experience sudden cardiac arrest
• Using illegal drugs, such as cocaine.
Dr Ogunlewe blamed the way society has embraced sedentary lifestyles as one of the major reasons why a lot of people are coming down with heart diseases unlike what was seen in this part of the world in the past. “Well, the advent of civilisation has brought with it added problems. You find out that people who grow up in the villages don’t
have these problems before; but civilisation has penetrated even into our villages so we suffer these cases now. Heart disease used to be a disease associated with the white people. It was not common in Africa but now we see it all because of our sedentary lifestyle. Also, what we eat in these modern times affect our heart a lot. A lot of fast foods have sprung up all over the country. We eat a lot of refined foods. Mothers are no longer preparing nutritional foods for their children at home. They give them snacks for lunch instead of cooked food that will help in their growth process and formation of blood. The foods we take are no longer farm fresh. We don’t eat fresh vegetables, fruits, and then we don’t exercise. Walking is a very good exercise for the heart. It helps to circulate blood all over the body and loose any blockage to the arteries that might lead to seizures,” he stressed.
Some of the sudden cardiac arrest symptoms include: sudden collapse; no pulse; no breathing and loss of consciousness. Sometimes, other signs and symptoms precede sudden cardiac arrest. These may include fatigue; fainting; blackouts; dizziness; chest pain; shortness of breath; weakness, palpitations or vomiting. But sudden cardiac arrest often occurs with no warning.
The expert said many of the problems that cause cardiovascular disease begin early in life. You can lower your risk of heart disease later in life if you start to practise good health habits now. A healthy diet, regular exercise, not smoking, reducing stress and alchol intake can greatly reduce your risk of a heart attack. These health habits are especially important if someone in your family has had a heart attack.
When someone develops a heart problem, how can he be helped by people around? The chest surgeon said: “It is very important you administer Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Quickly check the unconscious person’s breathing. If he or she isn’t breathing normally, begin CPR. If you don’t know CPR, just push hard and fast on the person’s chest, about two compressions a second or 100 a minute. Allow the chest to rise completely between compressions. You may need to administer oxygen by mouth resuscitation. Then take the person to the hospital immediately so they can find out what is wrong with the sufferer, he advised

The licence was suspended by the NUC which accused the university of running unauthorised courses.

He said: “The National Universities Commission is satisfied with the actions so far taken by the University, as well as the assurances of the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of Trustees (BOT) during our interactions and subsequent verification of documents.

The licence and those of six other private universities were suspended last month for allegedly violating the guidelines on physical facilities and academic programmes.

Lagos hotels 2nd most expensive globally – HRG
A recent research by the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has ranked hotels in Lagos as the second most expensive in the world behind Moscow, which oligarchs and bling reputation, pushed to first on the ranking.
According to the results of a poll conducted in 50 cities worldwide, a hotel room in Lagos cost an average of £217.05.
The report claimed the high rate of hotel rooms in the state could be attributed to the 'high volume of inbound business travel connected with the oil industry'.
It added security concerns in the security forces travellers to stay in five-star accommodation.
Behind Lagos in third place was Geneva with rooms priced at an average of £215.92, the survey said that hotel prices across the Eurozone had 'either fallen or remained flat'.
The survey also found that prices of hotel rooms had increased in both Tokyo and Dubai as they recovered from last year's earthquake, tsunami and Arab Spring.

Too Many Unmarried Youths: Imo State Might Introduce Uniform Bride Price!
Following what they have described as an increase in the number of unmarried youths in their community, the Traditional Parliament in Imo State is currently looking at a motion which seeks to harmonize the fee to be paid as bride pricein all communities in the state.
The motion, which is entitled, “Motion on the Harmonization of the Marriage Institution in Imo”, was moved by Eze Duru Okwudor and Eze Obi II of Okwudor in Njaba Local Government Area alongside other traditional rulers, and the Traditional Parliament, in Owerri, has passed its first resolution on it.
According to Okwudor, high pride price and difficulties involved in the process of traditional marriage are some of the reasons for a change in the system. He also noted that the behaviour of some parents and community leaders on the issue of bride price during marriage was a source of worry to young adults. In his words, “What obtains in the marriage institution today leaves much to be desired. It is as if the parents want to sell their daughters. If this is allowed to continue it will translate into a big problem to our youths who want to marry.”
While the motion has been seconded by some of his colleagues such as Eze Ekperechukwu of Obowo, others, like Eze Ekwueme Ekwueme, the Ochia of Ohaji Ebgema, opposed the motion and urged the parliament to allow communities to decide on the bride price. His reason: it would be out of place for the traditional rulers to decide for parents, who had spent much in training their daughters, on how much to collect for bride price.
Well, whatever they decide, a lot of non-indigenes are interested to know if the new bride price – if introduced – will be applicable to brides that will be married off to non-indigenes as well!
